What is Business Studies and what will I do?

Business Studies is all about how businesses work and how they relate to the world around them. You will learn through a variety of ways not only the theory but also the reality of Businesses in the community.

How will I be assessed?

There are two exams at AS Level, there is no coursework for AS Business Studies.

Who teaches Business Studies?

At Bilborough College Business Studies is taught by an experienced team of teachers who between them have many years of successfully preparing students for A Level examinations as well as being experienced examners for this and related subjects.

What can it lead to?

AS Business Studies can lead to A2 Business Studies in year 13 as well as being a good grounding for almost every career. It is also a useful complementary subject for many other subjects at AS/A2 Level.  Business Studies students from Bilborough College frequently go on to pursue business related courses in Higher Education.

What qualifications do I need to start AS level Business Studies at Bilbrough college?

Provided you have the minimum college entry requirement (currently 5 grade c's or above at G.C.S.E.) you can enrol on to AS Business Studies.

What should I do next?

When you have chosen the other courses you wish to study, fill in the college application form and come to the induction period in the summer term after you have finished your G.C.S.E.'s.
