Many of our students go onto work, work based training and apprenticeships after college.
The main sources of vacancies are from JobCentre Plus.
The college hosts an annual Employment and Careers Fair for Year 12’s and 13’s seeking employment – full, part time or seasonal, when we have over 20 local and national employers keen to recruit to a wide range of occupations.
Students are able to register for the National Apprenticeship Vacancy Matching Service by visiting
www.apprenticeships.org and additional information can be found at
www.apprenticeships.org.uk/Parents.aspx . This service will benefit parents as it offers guidance on how to support their son or daughter to access Apprenticeships, and gives advice on local and regional opportunities and progression routes.
