If the college needs to close due to severe weather conditions, an announcement will be made on BBC Radio Nottingham and a message added to the website home page as early as possible on the day.
Cycling
The college operates a “Cycling Support Scheme”. The idea of this is to help and encourage students who wish to cycle to college to do so safely.
We can provide you with safety equipment on free loan throughout your time at Bilborough, Including reflective gear, high security locks and lights.
The college also provides secure cycle storage on site for students.
We also run road safety campaigns throughout the autumn term in particular. You will notice road safety information which we publicise around college and inside the cycle shelters from the start of the new term.
We want to encourage the practice of safe and sustainable travel to/from college, so knowing that all cyclists have the opportunity to cycle safely is paramount. The main objective of the scheme is to ensure that all students are given the same opportunities in terms of confident and safe cycling.
