Bursaries

Last year the Government introduced a new initiative and made bursary finds available to all post-16 providers,  this is to support students from lower income households to continue in education post-16. 

 

We understand that it is important for families to know as soon as possible if a student qualifies for financial support and certainly prior to enrolling at college after the GCSE results. We are aware that this support package might influence individual decisions to come to Bilborough in September. We therefore suggest that parents look at the relevant bursary paperwork with their son/daughter and support them in completing the form and returning it to us (with the supporting evidence).  Applications received by 16th July will be processed throughout the summer break and students entitled to bursary support will be notified before the enrolment commences.
