Freedom of Information

Bilborough College has adopted a publication scheme developed for the further and higher education sector. The scheme sets out the information that we will make available, how it is published and whether or not there will be a fee for supplying the information.

Information listed in the College scheme is made available on paper, for which there will generally be a charge and, in addition, a number of the documents can be accessed free on the College website. Some documents are only available for inspection at the College because of copyright or technical issues. Where applicable, information will be posted within 20 working days from receipt of your request, which should be made on the appropriate form accompanied by the correct fee.

The information may be copied provided it is reproduced accurately and is used in an appropriate context, and provided that the exclusive copyright status of Bilborough College is acknowledged.

Requests for information made under the Freedom of Information Act must be made in writing, which includes electronic communications such as fax and email.  The request must contain details of the applicant and of the information sought.  The College may ask for further details in order to identify and locate the information.

Applications must be clear and specify the class and description of the information required.
Fees may (or may not) be levied by the College at £10.00 per section to a maximum of £60.00.
Applications should be accompanied by a fee where this is necessary. Information will normally be supplied on paper.
