Choosing the course that’s right for you
AS and A Levels - There’s a wide choice of subjects at AS and A Level. Some of these will be familiar to you, such as Maths and English, and other subjects may be new to you. You will study for AS levels in the first year and towards the end of your first year; you’ll choose which subjects to continue to study in the second year (A2 Level) to achieve a full A Level. All AS/A levels provide a route into higher education.
Don't worry if you're not sure which subjects to choose as there is plenty of help available to assist you in making an informed decision about your future. Try to think about the subjects you enjoy and what you're good at – perhaps you have a career in mind?
