Standards Committee

The role of the Standards Committee is:

• To act as “critical friend” to promote students’ learning experiences and student achievement at the College.
• Provide Corporation with an annual report on quality assurance and advise Corporation about student recruitment, retention and achievement.
• Review academic standards and benchmarking and act as the review group for the Self-Assessment Report.
• To receive reports as part of the Quality Audit Programme

Membership comprises:

• Chair of Committee – Wendy Smith 
• Members of the Corporation – Mr Geoff Gration, Mrs Eileen Hartley & Mr Michael Jackson
• 1 teaching staff governor – Mr Trevor Melton 
• 2 student governors – Miss Aiesha chaudhery & Mr Costas Poutziouris
• 1 Parent Governor - Mrs Jane McGregor
• Principal – Mr Chris Bradford
• Deputy Principal – Mrs Dorothy Mountford
• 2 non-governor members with expertise relevant to the Committee's duties - Mr Chandran Owen & Mr Tony Horsewill
