Standards Committee

The role of the Standards Committee is:

• To act as “critical friend” to promote students’ learning experiences and student achievement at the College.
• Provide Corporation with an annual report on quality assurance and advise Corporation about student recruitment, retention and achievement.
• Review academic standards and benchmarking and act as the review group for the Self-Assessment Report.
• To receive reports as part of the Quality Audit Programme

Membership comprises:

• Chair of Committee – Eileen Hartley 
• Members of the Corporation – Geoff Gration, Wendy Smith, Tye Nosakhere (Vice Chair of Standards Committee) 
• 1 Teaching Staff governor – Trevor Melton 
• 2 Student Governors – Reyhanna England and Aaron Reilly
• 1 Parent Governor - Jasvir Kaur
• Principal – Chris Bradford
• Deputy Principal – Mrs Dorothy Mountford
• 2 Associate Governor Members with expertise relevant to the Committee's duties - Chandran Owen & Tony Horsewill
